What:
Press Conference to announce the kick-off of an “Open House Tour” in Pontiac showcasing foreclosed homes that are beautifully renovated or completely rebuilt as part of a federally funded initiative coordinated by leaders with the City of Pontiac and Oakland County. They have partnered with local members of the Michigan Association of Home Builders, Michigan Association of Realtors and developers such as Home Renewal Systems to market the homes, which are valued from $45,000 to $75,000 and feature hardwood floors, state-of-the-art energy-saving appliances and other amenities that defy the perception of foreclosed or abandoned homes.

The new “Open House Tour” is the first event in Pontiac’s 100-year history where city and county officials have teamed with builders and real estate agents to promote home purchases in these Pontiac neighborhoods.
